Nikwax Down Proof

Speciality waterproofer designed to protect the insulating properties of down-filled gear from wet and damp conditions. Easy to use in the washing machine or by hand, non flammable and PFC free.

Liquid

Remove all detergent build up from the detergent dispenser.
Place clean item in washing machine (maximum 1 item).
Use 150ml for 1 item.
Wash according to care label, preferably on a low setting and slow spin.
Spin dry 3 times (slow spin)
If care label allows, tumble dry with tumble balls according to manufacturer’s instructions on a low setting until ‘clumps’ have disappeared. Teasing apart clumps repeatedly during drying process will help restore loft to the down.
